Eligibility for the E-Visa to Russia
To be eligible for the e-visa, you must be a citizen of one of the 55 countries listed by the Consular Department of the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These e-visas can be used for private or business visits, tourism, scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic, sporting events, and other relevant purposes. The e-visa allows you to stay in Russia for up to 16 days, with a validity period of 60 days.
Application Process
With specific border crossing points available, including major ports in Moscow and St. Petersburg, your entry and exit from Russia will be seamless. You can submit your e-visa application between four to forty days before your expected date of entry. The application process begins on the official website or through the Russian Foreign Ministry’s mobile application. Create and verify your account, fill out the application form with personal details, visit details, and contact information. The application fee is up to USD $ 40 for individuals aged six and above. After submission, you can expect an update on your application status within four calendar days.
