Russian Visa (up to 180 days)

The following groups of people can apply for a visa affixed to their passport at this point:

• Citizens of an EU or EFTA country, regardless of their place of residence
• Foreigners residing in Switzerland (B/C residence permit), regardless of their nationality
• Citizens of the United States

We check whether these requirements are met in the online application form.

Depending on the length of stay, the following options are available for issuing a traditional visa:

• Up to 90 days stay: single or double entry
• 180 days stay: multiple entry

Visas valid for 180 days require a processing time of 3 weeks.

Our fee includes the actual visa fees, handling costs, courier service, and return of the passport (by registered mail). The costs are clearly visible on the application page before checkout. The normal processing time for a Russian visa is 3 weeks. Express visas (available in 5 working days) can only be issued for a duration of up to 90 days. These processing times begin on the day the documents are sent to the consulate. 

The fees are non-refundable in the event of rejection by the consular authorities.

To obtain a visa affixed to your passport, we require the following documents:

• Passport with at least two blank pages and valid for at least 6 months after the visa expires
• Copy of your Swiss residence permit (only if you are not an EU/EFTA citizen)
• Invitation letter (voucher) from a Russian travel provider (provided by us)
• Travel health insurance policy (can be provided by us)
• Application form (provided by us)
• Passport photo

1. Fill out the application form and check out (payment by credit card).
2. Receive the necessary documents from us by email (application form for the consulate, invitation letter (voucher), travel health insurance (if booked through us).
3. Sign the application, attach a passport photo, and send it together with your passport to the address in Bern provided by us.
4. We will return your passport with the visa by registered mail to the sender. If you would prefer to have it returned by courier, this is possible for an additional fee.
