Terms of Participation / Booking Conditions

1. Parties and Scope
1.1 These Terms of Participation / Booking Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services ordered via the website visarussland.ch by the customer (“Customer”) from Lidén & Denz GmbH, Seestrasse 110, CH-8610 Uster, Switzerland (“we”, “us”, “our”). The legal partner is Lidén & Denz GmbH, Switzerland, as per our Impressum.
1.2 We provide visa handling and hotel booking services as an intermediary (handling service). We are not a travel agency, airline, or embassy/consulate.
1.3 The Customer acknowledges that all visa and entry decisions lie solely with the competent authorities of the Russian Federation, and that we have no influence or control over such decisions.

2. Booking and Payment
2.1 The Customer submits a booking request through the checkout process on our website.
2.2 All fees are payable immediately by credit card at the time of checkout. The contract becomes binding once payment has been successfully completed and we have confirmed receipt electronically.
2.3 The Customer must provide true, accurate, and complete personal data (e.g. name, passport details, travel dates). Any mistakes or omissions are the Customer’s sole responsibility.

3. No Refunds / No Reimbursement
3.1 No refunds or reimbursements are provided under any circumstances. This applies in particular to cases of visa refusal, travel cancellation, force majeure, or customer withdrawal.
3.2 If the Russian authorities deny the issuance of a visa, all fees remain fully payable and non-refundable.
3.3 Any third-party fees (such as consular, courier, or service charges) are likewise non-refundable and borne by the Customer.

4. Liability and Disclaimers
4.1 Our role is limited to handling and intermediary services. We make no guarantee or representation concerning the granting of a visa, entry to Russia, or the accuracy of official travel regulations.
4.2 We accept no responsibility for any travel-related information or materials published on our website or on third-party sources.
Additionally, any advice, guidance, or helpful tips provided verbally or in writing by our staff regarding travel to Russia are given in good faith but without any guarantee; we assume no liability for their accuracy, completeness, or consequences.
4.3 To the extent permitted by Swiss law, we exclude all liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our maximum liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the specific service concerned.
4.4 We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or losses arising from force majeure, government actions, pandemics, strikes, wars, or other circumstances beyond our control.

5. Hotel Booking Services
5.1 In the case of hotel bookings, we act purely as an intermediary between the Customer and the accommodation provider.
5.2 The Customer must comply with the respective hotel’s own terms and policies (check-in rules, cancellation conditions, etc.).
5.3 We are not liable for hotel performance, service quality, cancellations, or decisions made by the accommodation provider.

6. Modifications of Terms
6.1 We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The version published on our website at the time of booking shall apply.
6.2 Any material change affecting ongoing services will be communicated to the Customer in a reasonable manner.

7. Data Protection
7.1 Personal data will be processed strictly in accordance with Swiss data protection law and our Privacy Policy (available on the website).
7.2 Customer data may be shared with third parties (e.g. hotels, consulates, or courier services) solely for the purpose of fulfilling the contract.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
8.1 These Terms shall be governed exclusively by the laws of Switzerland.
8.2 The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Uster, Switzerland, where Lidén & Denz GmbH has its registered office.

9. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a booking request or payment through the checkout, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Participation / Booking Conditions.
